This Community: What is it, and Why?

The online community serves as a fundraising vehicle for event participants; allowing participants to create a website, share their story, and communicate with family members, friends, online neighbours and co-workers in their city, province, and even across the globe.

Each user site will serve as a communication portal allowing participants to communicate the importance of ALS awareness and assist participants with their fundraising efforts by allowing the acceptance of online donations/pledges.
